Premier Beauty and Wellness Company Enlists Software Leader’s Cloud-Based Platform to Unify Internal Control, Compliance and Global Audit Workflows
Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc., a global beauty and wellness company, has expanded its relationship with ACL, adding ACL™ GRC, ACL™ Analytics Exchange and ACL™ Direct Link for SAP® ERP & SAP® CRM. Nu Skin enlisted ACL’s full data-driven platform to streamline its audit and compliance functions, including SOX testing, and create a more unified approach to audit, internal control and compliance activities and reporting.
Nu Skin, which is well-known as an agile, innovative company, desired to improve the efficiency of its audit functions by increasing automation of time-consuming SOX audits, as well as streamlining the compilation of reports for management and the audit committee. The company selected the ACL platform to help create a foundation for improving its audit, compliance and internal controls management ecosystems by plugging each function into a single, collaborative system.
“The time and resources saved by automating our audit processes using ACL platforms can now be allocated to a broader, higher-value scope of projects,” said Mark Milne, director of internal audit at Nu Skin. “Having already used ACL Analytics, we realized that the full ACL platform could jump-start our processes across the board.”
Nu Skin’s Compliance Group also utilizes the ACL platform’s built-in assessment questionnaire capabilities, which will enable them to survey an unlimited number of stakeholders at no additional cost, integrating responses into the system for trackable attestation.
Nu Skin needed a comprehensive solution with integrated transactional data analytics that was both intuitive and easy to implement across countries and departments. ACL’s cloud-based, data-driven platform, with the support of Customer Success services and 24-7 online training, will help drive technology and process best practices across the Internal Audit, Compliance and Internal Controls groups.
“Nu Skin’s tradition of innovation extends throughout the business, with an emphasis on agility and continuous process improvement,” commented Dan Zitting, chief product officer of ACL. “Their commitment to finding new and better ways to manage compliance and control activities from a big picture perspective leads the way in cross-team collaboration.”
